Terms of Service

Last updated: 28/10/2025

Welcome to our car rental and rent-to-own services. By booking, renting, or using any vehicle through our website or in person, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

1. General Terms

  • These terms apply to all vehicle rental and rent-to-own agreements made through our website or directly with our team.
  • By renting or leasing a vehicle, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old (or as required by Australian law), hold a valid driver’s licence, and are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
  • All rentals are subject to vehicle availability and approval of identification and payment details.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings can be made online or in person.
  • Payment can be made through bank transfer or cash (where applicable).
  • A security deposit may be required at the time of booking or vehicle pickup. The deposit amount depends on the type of vehicle and rental duration, or may be fixed.
  • Rental fees must be paid in full before or at the time of vehicle collection, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Any unpaid fees or late payments may result in additional charges or termination of the rental agreement.

3. Driver Requirements

  • The primary driver must hold a valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence (or an international licence accepted in Australia).
  • A copy of your licence and proof of identification must be provided before vehicle handover.
  • Additional drivers must be declared and approved prior to the start of the rental period.

4. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

The vehicle must be used only for lawful personal or business purposes. Vehicles must not be used for:

  • Any illegal or dangerous activity
  • Racing, off-road driving, or towing without written consent
  • Subletting, lending, or using the vehicle for unauthorised rideshare services (unless agreed in a rent-to-own or approved rental plan)

You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition it was received, except for normal wear and tear. Also, you are liable for any fines, tolls, traffic violations, or damages that occur during your rental period.

5. Insurance and Liability

  • Basic insurance coverage is included with all rentals in accordance with Australian law.
  • You may be responsible for an insurance excess if the vehicle is damaged, stolen, or involved in an accident.
  • You must report any accidents, damages, or thefts to both the company and the local authorities immediately.
  • Failure to comply with insurance or reporting requirements may void coverage and make you fully liable for all associated costs.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup may be eligible for a partial refund (but it depends and can vary), subject to administrative fees. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of your deposit or rental fees. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the booking unless another arrangement has been made.

7. Vehicle Return and Late Fees

All vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location. Late returns may incur additional hourly or daily charges. If you wish to extend your rental period, please contact our team before your current rental ends to arrange an extension.

8. Rent-to-Own Terms

  • Rent-to-own customers agree to make regular fixed weekly payments as outlined in their agreement.
  • Ownership will only transfer after all scheduled payments are completed in full.
  • Missed or late payments may result in repossession of the vehicle and loss of prior payments, as detailed in your individual rent-to-own contract.

9. Maintenance and Breakdowns

  • Routine maintenance is managed by our team, but drivers must report any mechanical issues or warning lights immediately.
  • In case of a breakdown, contact our support number for assistance.
  • Do not attempt unauthorised repairs or modifications.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the vehicle or our services.
  • Our total liability in any case will not exceed the total amount paid for your rental period.

11. Privacy and Data Use

Personal information collected during bookings is handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Laws and our Privacy Policy. Information may be shared with insurers, payment providers, or law enforcement if required by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria.
